We made the guy for this years bonfire.
P4-6 also made the soup and baked tatties using their produce from the community garden.  The money received from donations for the food will be used to buy more things for the garden next year.

Halloween at Rousay Primary School.

We all dressed up and carved pumpkins.  We used one of our pumpkins for an experiment on reversible and irreversible changes in materials.  We made the pumpkin sick with vinegar, washing up liquid and bicarbonate of soda!  Definitely an irreversible change!

Relaxing on the last day of school before the October break!
Golden Time is so much fun now we have a Scrapstore Playpod.
"That was the best Golden Time ever!" said James.

P1-3 helped us plant our wildflower seeds.

We have been exploring our outdoor environment with Amy and Lindsay from the RSPB.  We collected wildflower seeds to plant in seed trays for our pond and woodland area.  We found some interesting fungi on the pitch and growing on our trees in the playpark.
